About the Dance Club

So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye!

Announcing our farewell dance on March 14, 2026, from 7pm to 10pm.

(note the change of time)

This dance will be FREE to all dancers.

Semi-formal attire is optional.

(But wouldn't it be awesome to have our last dance have ladies dressed in ballroom dresses and gentlemen in sports coats or even tuxes!)

We'll have a PIE silent auction (as the date is officially Pi Day).

We'll have memorabilia and maybe photos.

Then, at the end of the night, we'll turn out the lights on the

Dance Club of Grays Harbor.

We hope you can come join us to celebrate the fantastic years of dancing, from 2008 to 2026!

Salsa, Samba, Rumba, Tango, Waltz, Cha Cha, Night Club Two-Step, Foxtrot,

Hustle, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, line dancing and more.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Dance Director and Instructor of Professional Dancers at Arthur Murray Dance Studio and Fred Astaire Dance Studios;

Ballroom adjudicator in California, Oregon and Washington; Taught Bronze, Silver, and Gold Standard levels of dance;

Choreographed and performed in weekly TV shows in San Diego,California and Portland, Oregon;

Competed Professionally in American and International Style Ballroom; Competed Pro/Am, producing blue ribbon champions;

Performed and competed at Disneyland while with Fred Astaire Studio; co-owner of an Arthur Murray Studio

 

IN GRAYS HARBOR:

Taught at Grays Harbor College, the YMCA of Grays Harbor, Cosmopolis School, Weatherwax,

Beacon School in Montesano, Aberdeen and Hoquiam Elks Club, Aberdeen Eagles, Stafford Creek;

Member and teacher for three dance clubs in Olympia and our own Dance Club of Grays Harbor
